MSc in Health Psychology receives official BPS re-accreditation

 

The Masters in Health Psychology was re-accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in December 2015. The programme received seven commendations for good practice, following a glowing external review: 

1. The programme team have a passion and enthusiasm that is infectious in communicating the discipline of Health Psychology.
2. The programme team have put in place a student support mechanism that is described by the students as extremely accessible, supportive and helpful.
3. The programme has been organised and structured to be accessible and manageable for students.
4. The programme has developed a range of applied and innovative assessments, with real world relevance.
5. Feedback and academic development is of a high and timely standard which is appreciated by the students.
6. The professional skills module helps the students with their personal and professional development.
7. The use of Moodle in the research methods modules has strengthened the learning and support that students gain from working in very large groups.
