Dr Mitesh Patel awarded a UK DCTN Fellowship Award

Many congratulations to Dr Mitesh Patel, who has been awarded a UK DCTN GP Fellowship Award.

The UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network (UK DCTN) offers a number of awards each year to the medical community. The awards are open to UK DCTN members based in the UK who are interested in developing their clinical research and appraisal skills.

The GP Fellowship is awarded to a UK based GP or GPST in their final year, to work with the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network (UK DCTN). The UK DCTN coordinating centre is based within the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology at The University of Nottingham, led by Professor Hywel Williams.

Mitesh is a GP Registrar and an Academic Clinical Fellow in the Division of Primary Care, supervised by Professor Joe Kai, Head of Primary Care and Professor Kim Thomas, Professor of Applied Dermatology Research & Co-Director of the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology.
