Buckingham Palace honour for School of Medicine professor

 

The School of Medicine’s Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Harminder Dua has been honoured as a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Cambridge for his contribution to improving eye healthcare, health education and pioneering research into ophthalmology.

Professor Dua attended the investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 5 November following the announcement of his CBE during the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
