Current Research

My research is primarily involved using large routinely collected health care data to examine the epidemiology of various clinical conditions in women and children. I am also interested in sugical epidemiology and epidemiology in gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to conducting my own research, I provide study design and statistical methodology support to the NDDC BRC investigators, clinical research fellows and PhD students for 2.5 days per week.

Past Research

I have conducted epidemiological research projects using routinely collected health care data on various medical conditions such as maternal perinatal mental illnesses, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, epilepsy and stroke, and the associations with maternal and childhood outcomes.
