Expertise on historical and current patterns of migration between India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, policies of refugee rehabilitation in South Asia and projects of post-colonial development. Also an experienced oral history researcher and have conducted interviews with marginalised communities in India and UK. Fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali (spoken and written) and Urdu (spoken).
