Brian comes from Oregon, United States and studied Civil Engineering Geomatics at Oregon State University (MSc). Following two civil engineering internships at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants and Portland General Electric, and further quality assurance testing internships at Trimble Navigation, he led the university's American Congress on Surveying and Mapping group as student President in 2015-16. Brian's interest in high accuracy real-time GNSS research and background in geodetic surveying developed into his Engineering Doctorate which is funded through the TREASURE project as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. Brian's focus within the project is on PPP-RTK algorithm development and will involve multi-national collaboration with other Marie Curie fellows, academic institutions, and industry leaders that produce advanced PPP solutions.
