Mohammed Habboub

Mohammed is a PhD student working at the University of Nottingham - UK (funded by Dean of Engineering Research Scholarship for International Excellence). Prior to beginning of the PhD program, Mohammed worked as a geospatial engineer at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) providing spatial solutions, solving complex spatial problems, designing, building, publishing and updating spatial databases, mobile data collecting, analyzing big data, visualizing spatial data as well as generating story maps for infrastructure unit. Before that, Mohammed worked as a lecturer teaching GIS courses at The University College of Applied Science - Gaza. He taught modules such as spatial analysis using GIS/RS software packages, GIS programming (VB.NET, VBA, MATLAB, Python), advanced GIS applications and modelling, GIS applications in Urban planning, Open source web mapping using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. And other topics such as the spatio-temporal analysis, change detection, automation and optimisation.
