Clean your hands The University of Nottingham has produced a DVD aimed at patients, healthcare workers and hospital visitors, which is being shown on plasma screens and bedside televisions in wards. The video outlines the importance of hand hygiene, and the practical steps that everyone can take to reduce the chances of damaging infections, such as MRSA and clostridium dificile, being passed to patients by healthcare workers and visitors. It's aimed at patients, healthcare workers and hospital visitors, and will also be useful for health care students in preparation for practice. View further information on this RLO.

Critical Reflection This resource is aimed primarily at students in healthcare practice to get them to reflect on their experiences and practice. The package explores the meaning and process of critical reflection, described by one author as "the process of looking back on what has been done and pondering on it and learning lessons from what did or did not work". Over2U - An introduction to handover in patient care Handover is an essential element of patient care in a range of healthcare settings.
