Nicknamed the Green & Whites, in reference to the club's kit, the club recently moved from Meadow Lane, the home ground of Notts County, to Lady Bay in West Bridgford.

They previously played at Ireland Avenue in Beeston until the end of the 2005–06 season.

Scientific element: Roentgenium

Roentgenium is a radioactive, synthetic element about which little is known. It is classified as a metal and is expected to be solid at room temperature.

Only a few atoms of roentgenium have ever been made, and they have no current application outside of scientific study.

Roentgenium is named after Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, the discoverer of x-rays.
