Courses in Malaysia
The University of Nottingham was the first UK university to open a campus in Malaysia.
Located 35km from Kuala Lumpur in Semenyih, our Malaysia Campus is now home to almost 5,000 students.
Masters and PhD courses are available across applied psychology, biosciences, business, computer science, economics, education, environmental monitoring, engineering, international relations, law, modern languages, nutrition, plant technology and psychology.
All courses are taught in English to the same teaching assessment standards as the University of Nottingham in the UK, so you can be assured that your degree will be recognised by employers and universities worldwide.
The University has a range of established research institutes with expertise in areas such as applied linguistics, Asia Pacific studies, creative and digital cultures, global finance and sustainable energy.
Our purpose-built campus combines a high-quality living environment with state-of-the-art teaching and social facilities. It is well equipped with a range of amenities including accommodation and a bookshop, café, convenience store and health centre. The dedicated sports complex includes a gym, basketball, squash and tennis courts, a hockey field, running tracks and a pool. Transport is available from campus to the nearest bus and rail stations, providing easy access to Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding area.
The Graduate School opened in 2008 to provide additional support and guidance for all postgraduate students through a combination of training programmes and social events. It provides the facilities and resources you need to excel in your chosen field as well as enhance your postgraduate journey.
Malaysia is a pluralist culture based on a vibrant fusion of Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous communities. English is widely spoken and the Malaysian Constitution guarantees freedom of worship.
