Medicine taught courses

Medicine taught courses

We offer an extensive portfolio of taught postgraduate courses, which have been developed to cater for the professional and educational needs of the school’s specific disciplines.

Why study with us?

The School of Medicine’s postgraduate taught students work with leading academics and researchers to provide a dynamic and productive learning community. Our postgraduate taught students are based at four of the University’s campuses in Nottingham; University Park, Queen’s Medical Centre, Jubilee campus, and City Hospital.

Our teaching is informed by our research, which is international and interdisciplinary. Students on all of our postgraduate taught masters courses undertake a dissertation project, where students are supervised within divisions who are leading experts within their research field.

Our research is funded by research councils, charities, international organisations, and industry; and in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) over 80% of our research was judged to be "world leading" or "internationally recognised".

University of Nottingham is consistently named as one of the most targeted universities by Britain’s leading graduate employers – ranked in the top 10 in The Graduate Market 2013-2019, High Fliers Research.
