I obtained my Bachelor degree in Chemistry in 2014 (Saxion University of Applied Sciences) and graduated from VU University Amsterdam in 2017 with an MSc in Chemistry, specialising in Analytical Chemistry

Current Research

My PhD project will focus on developing mass spectrometry strategies for examination of cellular responses in media and on complex surfaces under supervision of Dr Dong-Hyun Kim, Professor David Barrett, Professor Morgan Alexander and Dr Josephine Bunch. The aim of the project is to get fundamental understanding of interactions between cells and materials using ambient mass spectrometry. This project will be carried out in collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
