Current Research

The research will concentrate on novel natural product-derived drugs formulated nanoparticles as more effective anti-cancer treatments as well as the effects of nanoparticles in cells and animals. In this research, we will make drug-cored nanoparticles which we can put in the "cancer's food" and characterize them by variety of techniques (Particle Sizer, TEM, MRI, HPLC etc.). First of all, we will refer to thesis to get the properties of drugs. Then, we will use solvent-exchange method to obtain the same sized particles without phospholipid. Besides, we need a highly water-insoluble drug and a tight, encapsulating, impermeable lipid, because a 50 nm particle would dissolve in less than 1 second. After that, we will test these drug-cored nanoparticles in well-characterized cell lines to get the conclusion.
