Biography

Following an MSc in pharmaceutical formulation sciences, I received a PhD in drug delivery and tissue engineering at the University of Nottingham, UK. Since then, I continued a series of collaborative research projects in the fields of drug delivery, biomedical engineering, and regenerative medicine at Alexandria University, Egypt.

The focus of my current work in the Dixon group at the division of Regenerative Medicine and Cellular Therapies is to optimize the multi factors involved in the development of the GET peptide-gene nanoparticles for regenerative, lung gene therapy and immunization applications in preclinical animal studies aiming for clinical translation.
