Winner of International Writing Competition - Barclay Bram-Shoemaker

One of our MSci students, Barclay Bram-Shoemaker, has won an international essay writing competition. His prize-winning essay will be published in International Affairs Forum, a Routledge journal.

The essay is entitled 'If terrorism and insurgencies are "weapons of the weak" why do they sometimes win' and explores the dynamics leading to victory by violent sub-state actors, over state military's.

Congratulations to Barclay on this fantastic achievement.
