Biography

Prior to joining the School of Psychology, I was a research fellow at the Calleva Research Centre for Evolution and Human Sciences at Magdalen College, Oxford. My doctoral and post-doctoral work was also in Oxford, in the Departments of Psychiatry and Experimental Psychology.

Expertise Summary

My work examines individual and developmental differences in human social cognition and behaviour with a view to understanding how such differences modulate cognitive and biological mechanisms underlying psychopathology. I am particularly interested in adolescence - a period of emerging maturity of brain structure and function, and significant changes in the social world.
