Current Research

My PhD is investigating whether a) psychological theories, b) personality traits, and c) a life events approach can improve the prediction of consumer behaviour in big data, beyond data-driven machine learning. I am currently working with a 10 year loyalty card dataset from a large pharmaceutical company, with a matched personality questionnaire (15,000 responses). I am supervised by Pete Bibby and David Clarke from Psychology, and James Goulding from N/LAB at The University of Nottingham.
