Biography
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology, an MSc in Psychological Wellbeing and Mental Health and my PhD focused on applying a Social Identity Approach to Health, to Social prescribing. I specifically developed a toolkit aimed at minimising disengagement during social prescribing, by increasing the likelihood of a service-user being connected to a group they could socially identify with. The toolkit was developed collaboratively with Link Workers and group leaders to ensure it remained relevant to each role in supporting a service-user through social prescribing. I am a mixed method psychologist, but my work so far has primarily involved qualitative research projects.
