Rights Lab Research Fellow in Antislavery and Anti-Trafficking Policy

Dr Deanna Davy (Politics and International Relations) works as part of the Rights Lab's Law and Policy Programme and focuses on survivor-informed strategies against slavery. Her PhD at the University of Sydney focused on child trafficking in Southeast Asia, and she has ten years of research and evaluation experience with intergovernmental and government agencies, universities and NGOs, including research roles with UNICEF, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Danish Refugee Council, ECPAT International, and World Vision International. For three years she managed the UNODC trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling research portfolio at the UNODC Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok.
