Rights Lab Head of Business Engagement and Impact

On maternity leave in 2020-21

Hannah Lerigo-Stephens leads the Rights Lab's business engagement and impact. She works with all five of our research prgrammes, with a particular focus on our Business & Economies programme, on the design and delivery of research projects in collaboration with businesses, and with other organisations and individuals with a business and supply chain interest. Across a range of projects, she facilitates the application of Rights Lab research in business-focused interventions, and focuses on the needs of the business sector in order to inform Rights Lab research priorities. Before joining the Rights Lab in 2019, she spent six years in the retail food industry working on ethical trade, business ethics and human rights issues. Her previous roles with Morrisons and Co-op included focusing on improving labour standards in global supply chains, creating approaches to impact assessment for corporate sustainability initiatives and working on the Co-op’s campaign against modern slavery. Hannah is on the Board of INGO Women Working Worldwide and holds an MSc in CSR & Sustainable Development.
