Dr Aisha Abubakar is a Development Economist with interests in applied microeconomics and social inclusion. As a Research Fellow, she has worked with Rights Lab colleagues to quantitatively explore the links between cognitive impairments and exploitation in England. Aisha's work experience spans teaching Economics and empirical research mainly covering health, social protection, welfare and livelihoods of vulnerable populations in the Global South, including people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, women and migrants.
