Dr. Chris Ives is part of the Rights Lab's Measurement and Geographies Programme, for example work to analyse slavery's impact on the environment and the environmental value of ending slavery. His particular expertise is in urban social-ecological systems and the human dimensions of environmental management. His research seeks to understand how people relate to and interact with the natural world, and how social and environmental knowledge can be used to inform action for sustainability.
