Professor Giles Foody (Geography) is part of the Rights Lab's Measurement and Geographies Programme. He focuses on our Slavery from Space work, as well as our work to understand the impact of slavery on the environment. His particular expertise includes the motivations, ability and potential of volunteers/citizen sensors to help map slavery, machine-learning methods for image analysis of slavery sites, and the interface between remote sensing, informatics, slavery and ecology.
