Robert Caruana

Rights Lab Professor of Business Ethics

Professor Robert Caruana (Business School) works with colleagues in the Rights Lab's Business and Economies Programme to understand modern slavery through the lens of consumption. He is currently analysing accounts of survivors' consumption experiences, to reveal the interconnections between consumption and labour exploitation so that they might be more effectively disrupted. His research background is in the moral dimensions of the corporate-consumer interface, combining the analysis human rights, exploitation, socio-economic exclusion, resource allocation and sustainability.
