Carlos is a PhD student in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Prior to this he was a Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Tapachula (Tapachula, Mexico), where he was also the Coordinator of the Automotive Systems Program and Coach of the Robotics Team. Before becoming an academic, he was working at FEMSA (Monterrey, Mexico) as the Coordinator of New Vehicle Technologies. He studied a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering, followed by an MEng in Quality and Productivity Systems at the ITESM (Tec de Monterrey).
