CIRP Industrial Surface Texture Parameters Survey

Seminar: "A new 2D-self-Calibration method with large freedom and high-precision performance" on Monday, 14 March 2016, by Prof. Peter Ekberg (KTH Stockholm).

The seminar was held at A1 Pope Building, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Nottingham.
 

Professor Richard Leach gave the Opening keynote at the 7th Micronarc Alpine Meeting at Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland from 31st January – 2nd February 2016.

The talk was entitled: “Next generation optical micro-metrology: beating the current barriers”. 

 

Jean Angelo Beraldin (National Research Council, Canada) gave a well-attended seminar "Capturing the Real World in 3D: from a Curiosity to a Main Stream Technology and 3D Imaging Technologies and Metrology at NRC Canada (1981-Present)" on 21st January

 

Metrology for Additive Manufacturing

On 8 December 2015, we held the first dissemination event for the Fellowship project at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry. The event was attended by around 70 people and sparked some excellent debate.
