Petros Stavroulakis attended EuroMed16 an International Conference on Digital Heritage which took place in Cyprus

Petros Stavroulakis attended EuroMed16 an International Conference on Digital Heritage which took place in Cyprus between the 31st of October and 5th of November 2016 at the Filoxenia Conference Centre, in Nicosia Cyprus. He presented a poster and a short talk on the work the group has carried out in osteological 3D digitization and how the methods developed for industrial metrology at the Manufacturing Metrology Team at the University of Nottingham can be transferred to the area of digital cultural heritage preservation.

The conference, attended by a lot of digitaries including the Orthodox Christian Archbishop of Jerusalem the Cypriot ambassadors of Greece, Spain and Germany, representatives from Interpol, the Cypriot police as well as the top academics in the field was a major success and puts the conference on the map as one of the most important conferences in it's field.
