Petros Stavroulakis attended the Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium on Additive Manufacturing

Petros Stavroulakis attended the Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium on Additive Manufacturing the largest and oldest meeting of its kind in the United States. It took place in Austin, Texas between the 13th-15th August 2018 with 680 attendees, a new meeting record. Petros presented two papers, the first one entitled: "Artificial-intelligence-enhanced multi-material form measurement for additive materials" on work performed by himself along with Danny Sims-Waterhouse, Amrozia Shaheen, Sofia Catalucci, Georgios Tzimiropoulos and Richard Leach and the second one entitled "In-process monitoring of a high speed sintering powder bed with structured light scanning"; describing work performed by Andrew Law of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Nicholas Southon, Nicola Senin and Richard Leach on detecting powder bed defects using curvature-based methods.
