Consultant Anaesthetist & Honorary (Clinical) Associate Professor,
Born 1963 and qualified MB ChB from Sheffield in 1986. After Internship in Sheffield I trained in Medicine and later Anaesthetics in Lancaster before moving to Nottingham in 1989 where I completed Anaesthetic training. I also undertook a Clinical/Research Fellowship at the Toronto Western Hospital, a Univeristy of Toronto teaching hospital from 1994-1995.
I was appointed a consultant anaesthetist in Nottingham in 1997 where I have worked until this date.As a consultant my main interests have been in postgraduate education, difficult airway management and medical technology
