 Guest speaker: Arthur Piper

 Biography: 

Arthur Piper is an award-winning writer and editor. His journalism has appeared in a wide range of publications in the UK, Europe and the US, including The Times, The Telegraph, and The Daily Mail. He has edited magazines for organisations such as Microsoft and Siemens and written reports and special projects for many global businesses. He was co-founder of the Nottingham Science Technology and Culture Research Group at the University of Nottingham and his PhD explored theoretical connections between images, cognitive science and technologies. His co-edited anthology, Images: A Reader was published by Sage in 2006. Today he works mostly on shaping effective narratives about technology for global organisations.
