Adapting our buildings to cope with the impact of global warming is the challenge being tackled by the Buildings, Energy and Environment (BEE) Research Group.
The ambition of the Research Group is to improve the sustainable practice of architecture and engineering, in order to enhance the quality of the built environment.
Working with a number of industrial partners, they research methods to reduce the impact of those technologies we take for granted, like air conditioning and energy. Our innovative on-campus Creative Energy Homes gives the group access to live research projects investigating affordable and sustainable housing of the future.
