Centre for Research in Race and Rights (C3R)

We collaborate with research and knowledge exchange partners organisations, locally, nationally, and internationally. We share large grants, co-organise public events and knowledge exchange seminars, host visiting fellows and exchange researchers for short-term or long-term visits.

We are also part of the university’s Research Priority Area (RPA) in Rights and Justice. A flagship initiative that is part of the 2015-2020 Research Strategy, this RPA brings together 700 staff members and 250 postgraduates from 19 campus research centres, including C3R, and is the world’s largest cluster of rights and justice scholars.
