Bridget joined the Centre as a Research Fellow in 2022, with the responsibility of contributing to systematic reviews in dermatology. From 2007 to 2021, she worked as a systematic reviewer at University College London (UCL) in the field of mental health sciences and palliative care. In 2016 her contribution to evidence synthesis research in these fields was recognized: she was awarded researcher of the year at the World Congress of the European Association of Palliative Care, and promoted at UCL to a principal fellow. Bridget's particular interests are in review methodology, especially in synthesis involving evidence from health interventions, in applying best practice methods, and where trial evidence is limited in linking/using novel approaches to include other types of evidence such as users voices captured via qualitative evidence synthesis. Bridget is currently working at Nottingham on a Cochrane review of a network meta-analysis of topical treatments for eczema.
