PhD Research Student, Faculty of Engineering

Additive manufacturing has the potential to change the world and I am helping move it forward through researching multi-metal 3D printing. My goal is to create electric motors and generators through additive manufacturing which will open up a whole new field of research into 3D electro-mechanical machine design. As a mechanical design engineer, I love to solve problems using creativity and imagination and face challenges head on. I'm planning to take my years of industry experience and combining it with my passion for additive manufacturing and electric motors to turn this PhD into something that I can take back to industry and change the world of electric motor design.
