Additive Manufacturing STEM outreach activities
As part of our commitment to communicate the outcomes of our research and innovation and support communities, we have engaged in a range of STEM activities. These include visiting local schools and Science events across the country, where we have conducted interactive sessions.
During these sessions, we delve into the concepts of 3D printing, its applications and materials, whilst emphasising the importance of careers in engineering, physics, chemistry, and other STEM disciplines. We aim to highlight how these disciplines can help tackle current and future challenges facing society.
Our dedication to sharing knowledge and supporting communities is an integral part of our ethos. By fostering interest in STEM subjects, we strive to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
In this page you can find our planned events as well as some of the recent outreach events attended.

Interested in a demonstration at your event / school?
Are you curious about the world of science, engineering, and technology? Do you want to know more about the cutting-edge research and innovation happening in these fields?
As part of our commitment to share our knowledge and support our communities, we have been involved in a range of STEM activities that will fascinate you.
During these sessions, we explore the fascinating world of 3D printing, its applications, and materials. To make the session interactive and fun, our team carries out demonstrations using an Ultimaker 2 Go, a small light weight Fused Deposition modelling printer. We also highlight the importance of careers in engineering, physics, chemistry, and other STEM disciplines, and how they can help tackle the current and future challenges facing our world.
So, whether you're a student, a parent, a teacher, or just someone who loves science, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey of discovery and innovation. Let's inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers together.
