Current Research

My research is within the Composites Research Group, this is primarily investigating Automated Dry Fibre Placement (ADFP) manufacturing technologies within the EPSRC Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub, as part of a 3 year core research program (2017-2020).

Additional ongoing research is the development of an automated production method of producing low cost discontinuous carbon/epoxy moulding compounds using robot directed methods to simultaneously deposit chopped carbon fibre and liquid epoxy resin sprays.
