Tommaso is a PhD researcher in Civilic Engineering at the University of Nottingham since October 2019. His research focuses on numerical-experimental investigation of wave-structure interaction.
Tommaso completed his bachelor in Civil Engineering at the University of Perugia, in 2016. He continued his studies at the University of Pisa, where he received his master degree in Hydraulic Engineering, in 2019. During his last year of the master, Tommaso spent 6 months at the University of Nottingham to work on his final project thesis about waves generated by iceberg calving. In 2019, he won the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship for Research Excellence (EU) at the University of Nottingham.
