PhD title: Work assessment in food-producing SMEs in Indonesia
Summary of research: Food-producing SMEs in Indonesia have a very important role on the country's economic. However, they are low in productivity compared to other countries in the region, and attention to human factors and ergonomics aspects is minimal. Their manual characteristic of work makes their workers vulnerable to ergonomics-related problems. Assessment of work-related problems in food-producing SMEs will give insight on work-related problems experienced by the workers and provide improvement.
