Public Involvement & Engagement Seminar Series 2019/2020Analytic conversation: involving users in qualitative data analysis
Speaker: Professor Louise Locock, University of AberdeenPatient and public involvement in research is an established principle, but the question of how best to involve people in the data analysis phase is debated. Louise will discuss the literature on involving patient and public partners in qualitative data analysis, and share experience from patient involvement in a secondary data analysis project for NHS quality improvement. This has led to ‘analytic conversation’ as a pragmatic and acceptable way to bring the value of lived experience to analysis.
All are welcome. For more information contact Dr. Julie Roberts.
