Academic Foundation Doctor,
Ashley undertook his pre-clinical training at Christ Church, University of Oxford (1st Class BA in Molecular Medicine) and thereafter completed his clinical studies at Imperial College London (attained distinction in MBBS). He is currently enrolled in the Academic Foundation Programme in the East Midlands, as part of the Primary Care Epidemiology team within the Division of Primary Care at the University of Nottingham.
As well as an active academic clinician, he is also an Honorary Research Associate within the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London.
Ashley's research interests include cancer screening, individualised risk prediction, the multimodal treatment of liver metastases from GI tract cancers, neuroendocrine tumours, and cancers of the pancreas/liver and bile ducts.
