Ms. Gwenllian Wilkinson obtained her BMedSci in Speech Science from The Univeristy of Sheffield in 2011. She worked clinically within Betsi Cadwaladr University Trust in North West Wales where she specialised in Stroke and Dysphagia.
Ms. Wilkinson is a Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in Post-Stroke Dysphagia rehabilitation. She has embarked on a research project within NUH School of Medicine, Stroke Division in partnership with Manchester University, exploring the use of Cerebellar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as a treatment for Dysphagia post-stroke.
Ms. Gwenllian Wilkinson has developed expertise in the Videofluoroscopic evaluation of Swallowing.
