David Amabilino grew up in Potters Bar, schooled in chemistry at the University of London (Royal Holloway), researched in supramolecular and materials chemistry in Birmingham, Strasbourg and Barcelona, and is now EPSRC/GSK Professor of Sustainable Chemistry at Nottingham.

His research group is investigating sustainable ways to assemble molecules into materials and to capture energy through novel chemistry, especially with dyes.

This event will be followed by a wine reception in the foyer, from 6-7pm.
