According to the Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) 2009:

Over two-thirds of University of Nottingham respondents stated that they were satisfied with their work-life balance, which is in line with the national picture.

At Nottingham, we recognise that in order for your work and life to be sufficiently balanced, you may require access to a range of support services.

Support provisions at the University are wide-ranging, from childcare and sports facilities to art and performance. The University also has a number of prayer rooms for prayer and religious observance. The Facilities page has details of the full range of support available to University of Nottingham staff.

If you are looking for answers to day-to-day support queries, visit our Practical support page.

If you are interested in engaging with the researcher community on an institutional, national or international level, see our Networks page for a comprehensive list.
