Discovery Days: Media Marvels

Discovery Days: Media Marvels

Learn more about the different forms of media and the influence they have on modern day society.

Working in collaboration with teaching colleagues from the School of Culture, Media and Visual Studies, this newly formed experience will provide children with the opportunity to engage in a variety of different activities, all about the impact of media. Pupils will better understand what media is, how we access it, and the power it holds. This is a fantastic opportunity for participants to reflect upon some of the dangers present in modern media and discover a range of different career opportunities in this field.

Introducing the concept of university and helping children to think about their futures, our outreach officers will run sessions in school, both before and after the Discovery Day.

In partnership with the School of Cultural, Media and Visual Studies
