I am currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. I hold a BA degree in Social Work from the Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, and an MA in International Social Work and Community Development from the University of Durham in the UK.

My PhD research is a qualitative project aims to explore social work practice in the aftermath of natural disasters in Oman, in order to provide a response framework.
