Student sports membership FAQs
Please see below for frequently asked questions regarding Student Sport & Fitness Membership
How much does the UoN Sport and Fitness membership cost?
The student sport and fitness membership for 2022/23 will be available at the early bird rate of £229 (rising to £249 in October) and provides access to the best range of facilities in Nottingham including access to gym, swim, courts, classes and climbing at all three of the University’s Sports Facilities (the David Ross Sports Village, Jubilee Sports Centre and Sutton Bonington Sports Centre).
In addition, the BUCS UNIVersal scheme for gives you access to over 100 partner facilities across the country, enabling you to keep up your training when you visit friends at other universities or equally head home for the vacation.
To ensure we can maintain our high quality offer and continue to engage and support as many of our university community in sport, health and wellbeing activities, we have had to increase our student membership prices (which have remained frozen since 2018/19). The cost of operating and maintaining our world-class sporting facilities and delivering our student sport experience have continued to increase beyond our control due to inflation, as they have for all providers, and the knock-on effect has seen significant increases in utility bills, supplier prices and travel costs to name a few.
Please see our student membership page for full details of pricing and how to purchase.
