University of Nottingham are very excited to be hosting one of the biggest highlight's of the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) calendar in March 2018 - BUCS Big Wednesday - and we need you to make it happen!
Taking place here in Nottingham on March 21 , BUCS Big Wednesday sees over 60 of the UK's top university teams and over 1600 athletes come together for a huge day of Championship and Trophy finals. We're now recruiting for over 100 volunteers to get involved in the delivery of the event.
You don't need any prior sporting experience to volunteer and the roles offer a fantastic opportunity to experience a huge national event first-hand. We've got two positions available - click on each link below to read the role descriptions and register your interest. Please note, deadline for applications is Friday 8 December 2017.
Students who are selected to volunteer at BUCS Big Wednesday will also receive;
- Free BUCS stash to keep after the event
- Full training from BUCS and University of Nottingham Sport
- Free meal provided during your volunteering shift
- Invitation to a team social
- Additional opportunity to volunteer at the the BUCS Nationals in Sheffield from 16 - 18 February
We're hosting an Information Evening on Monday 13 November from 5.30-6.30pm (Humanities Building, A01) for anyone who would like more information the volunteering opportunities at BUCS Big Wednesday.
