Performance Women's Lacrosse
Performance Lacrosse (Women's)
Lacrosse players studying at the University of Nottingham join one of the UK's largest university lacrosse programmes, competing at the top level of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues.
Our lacrosse facilities for students are extensive; our teams train on a purpose-built 3G pitch opened in 2015 at our Jubilee Campus sports centre and performance facilities at the new £40 million David Ross Sports Village include a High Performance Zone and Sports Injury Clinic. Combined with an international-level coaching team and professional support staff, the programme aims to support each player to reach their full potential.
Lacrosse at The University of Nottingham
Our women's lacrosse programme is led by Stockport/North of England representative team lacrosse player, Cora Delfini.
Previously a women’s lacrosse standout player for Montclair State University (New Jersey, USA), Cora was awarded multiple All-Region and All-Skyline selections over her four years of competitive NCAA Lacrosse.
Cora is supported by an assistant coach, Molly Deykin, a University of Birmingham graduate who also represented the university in BUCS, in which they achieved BUCS Silver in the 2015 Cup. Molly is also Head Coach of Metro Girls Lacrosse, based in Manchester, which travels to Maryland in America to play teams over there every year.
