Performance Lacrosse (Women's)

Lacrosse players studying at the University of Nottingham join one of the UK's largest university lacrosse programmes, competing at the top level of British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues.

Our lacrosse facilities for students are extensive; our teams train on a purpose-built 3G pitch opened in 2015 at our Jubilee Campus sports centre and performance facilities at the new £40 million David Ross Sports Village include a High Performance Zone and Sports Injury Clinic. Combined with an international-level coaching team and professional support staff, the programme aims to support each player to reach their full potential.

Our women's lacrosse programme is led by England Senior Midfield player Claire Faram, a Loughbrough University graduate who represented the university in BUCS. She is a World Cup Bronze medalist (22nd July 2017) and coached Benenden School Lacrosse for 3 years from 2014-2017.

Claire is supported by a team of sports scholar coaches including Nicole Tiernan, Megan Tiernan, Jess Maxwell and Kaitlyn Cunningham.
