Performance Football (Men's)

Football players studying at The University of Nottingham join a thriving set up in a city steeped in footballing history. At the University we've invested in significantly in sector-leading facilities - our venues boast more football pitches than any other UK university. As well as modern pavilions at our Highfields and Riverside complexes, our student athletes access the £40 million David Ross Sports Village complete with a state-of-the-art High Performance Zone.

Consistently ranked in the top 20 Higher Education institutions nationally, our men's football programme is underpinned by the biggest intra-mural football set up in the country. Over 90 teams compete in these leagues, which include both 11-a-side and 7-a-side formats.

Our players also have the opportunity to compete in the annual Varsity series hosted at Meadow Lane, the home of Notts County Football Club since 1910.
