Transport and parking
By car
When you arrive, there will be plenty of free parking spaces available. Please follow the signs, and our parking attendants will direct you to the nearest available parking space. Some of the car parks on campus can be a 15-minute walk away, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get there. We recommend bringing a pair of sensible shoes for the walk. Once parked, look out for the signs pointing you to the Graduation Village and head straight to check-in and gowning.
Blue badge parking
If you require accessible parking, please let us know when you register and we will ensure a security guard is there to guide you to the nearest parking space on the day of your graduation.
By tram and bus
Nottingham’s public buses and tram lines provide direct links to University Park Campus from various points around the city.
You can find out more about Nottingham's public buses on the bus service webpage or visit the NET website to explore the tram network.
Please remember all tram travel is ‘buy before you board’, so make sure you buy a ticket from the machine at the stop or validate your travel pass before getting on a tram.
By train
If you’re arriving by train, please check the timetable information available from National Rail. Nottingham Train Station is located in the centre of Nottingham, approximately four miles from University Park Campus. Please ensure you factor this additional travel time into your journey. You can get a taxi to the university from outside the station, or alternatively, you can reach our University Park Campus directly by tram.
